Got Done version 1.5

Clearer task and habit details

A focused detail view and better daily sorting make tasks and habits easier to review and update.

Timo Weiss2 min read

Version 1.5 arrived two weeks after the previous update with a complete redesign of the task and habit detail views. It also changed how unfinished tasks move between days and clarified the visual state of missed habits.

A focused place for task and habit details

Opening a task or habit now brings up a cleaner, more compact detail view. The old field-heavy layout was replaced with controls that make the information easier to scan and update.

The benefit is practical: notes, dates, goals, and other details stay together without making a quick edit feel complicated.

Unfinished tasks move at midnight

Unfinished tasks now move to the next day at midnight. They no longer appear early while you are still planning a future day.

This creates a clearer boundary. Tomorrow can be planned on its own, and unfinished work returns when the new day actually begins.

More consistent colors

The updated color system improves contrast in both light and dark mode. Completed habits use a clearer green, so their state is easier to recognize at a glance.

Missed habits stay visible without taking over

A line across the habit card marks a missed habit. Missed habits move behind the items that still need attention, while habits that can still reach an ideal goal remain near the front of the completed group.

The history stays honest, but one imperfect day does not have to dominate the next decision.
